Father was arrested for poisoning his three sons after the Prophet told him that they were a magician who held back his destiny

The Bayelsa State Police Command has arrested a 42 -year -old man, Samuel Otasi, for allegedly poisoning his three sons after a priest told him that they were magicians who arrested his destiny.

In a video that was shared on the social media platform on Monday, the police at the Igbogini division headquarters in the state said that Otasi forced his sons to be 10, 12, and 14, to drink deadly insecticides known as sniper with the help of relatives who were also arrested.

According to the narrator in the video, Otasi decided to kill children after prediction by the priest identified as George Odugo, who claimed that children had bewoned by their mothers to destroy their lives and destiny.

One of the boys is said to have miraculously survived and managed to escape from the bush where they were tied and poisoned and then revealed how his father and uncle forced them to drink chemicals, leaving the sign of the rope seen on their bodies.

The medical staff who cared for a child who was still living confirmed that he arrived unconsciously and was in a critical condition and after regaining strength, he told the authorities that his two siblings were still in the bush but when the police arrived, the two boys had released the ghost.

The wooden crates used to carry their bodies from the forest were shown to reporters during the visit by the Bayelsa State Police Commissioner to the scene.
