Federation Elections: NSC Names au mustapha president of the Appeal Committee
Abuja (Reporter Core) The National Sports Commission (NSC) appointed Abdulhakeem Mustapha (San) to direct the Appeal Committee of the elections of the sports federations arriving.
In a declaration made available to basic journalists on Saturday 7 June 2025 and signed by the director of the NSC press, Dr. (Mrs) Kehinde Ajayi NSC announces electoral petitions and electoral appeals committees to support the integrity in the elections of the sports federation.
Au Mustapha is a renowned Senior supporter of Nigeria with decades of experience in legal arbitration and sports law. He is a twice former president of the Committee for Football Confederation of African Football (CAF) (2016-2024) and previously chaired the NFF electoral committee in 2010, gaining great success for his impartiality and competence.
The Electoral Petition Committee formally inaugurated NSC and the Electoral Appeals Committee in the context of its strategic effort to guarantee transparency, equity and integrity in the conduct of the elections of the sports federation.
In line with international standards and its renewed commitment to excellence in the governance of sport, the NSC leadership has selected legal professionals, administrators and media respected of exceptional tracks for record tracks to serve these committees.
