The federal government, Wednesday, reduced the flight ban imposed on the Fuji music star, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (Kwam 1).
He also withdrawn his criminal complaint against comfort Emmanson, the passenger accused of unruly behavior aboard an Ibom air flight.
Emmanson had already been accused before a court of Ikeja magistrates for criminal accusations and postponed to prison.
A declaration by the Aviation Minister and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, said that the move was necessary following the consultation with the parties concerned in the aviation sector and those involved in the “unfortunate accidents regarding the unruly behaviors of some people in our recent airports”.
Keyamo condemned Emmanson’s actions, observing that he was postponed because he did not provide adequate surety in court.
He also criticized the circulation of the indecent viral video, which showed its upper part and its upper part of the body exposed.
He said he ordered an action against Ibom aerial officials who led the movie.
On the Valowjet accident involving Kwam 1, the minister revealed that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) will reduce its ban to a month. Faan also plans to involve the musician as an ambassador for airport security protocols.
“Having publicly demonstrated penance, the NCAA will withdraw her criminal complaint against Kwam 1,” said Keyamo.
The one -month ban will also apply to the Captain Ogoyi of Valuejet and to the first officer Ivan Oloba, whose licenses will be restored after compulsory professional revaluation.
Keyamo has announced that next week there will be a retreat to redevelop the aviation safety staff on the management of disruptive passengers and on the de-Escalation of stretched situations. Airlines will also have dedicated sessions to deal with staff conduct towards travelers.
The minister stressed that the clemences were granted exclusively for compassionate reasons, adding: “The government will never be added to the basic feelings, politically motivated opinions or deformed legal opinions when a clear invasion of our laws is involved. We have decided to trace a line after these clemefulness”.
