FG celebrates retired health workers, commit the continuous commitment and support of well -being

Abuja (Core Reporter) The Federal Ministry for Health and Social Wellness has honored long -lasting staff of his Department of Hospital Services (DHS), celebrating their decades of dedicated service while undertaking to continue to exploit their skills also retired.

The minister coordinated for health and social well -being Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate praised the permanent secretary Daju Kachollom Mni and, dr. Salaudeen Jimh Mni, director of the Department of Hospital Services to honor the pensioners of the Ministry who have served meritoriously over the years and have left a lasting legacy of excellence and excellence in the health sector.

He said: “It is really fantastic to honor our pensioners, I thanked the permanent secretary and the Department of Hospital Services for having celebrated them. At the Honourees, you were there in service, to perform in an excellent way and conquered with the time. So, congratulations, we appreciate you, you are part of the family of health, which we will all belong even a day”

Even speaking, the honorable Minister of State for Health, Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako, praised retirees for their professionalism, integrity and commitment to strengthen the Nigeria health system over the years.

He assured them that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains committed to guaranteeing the well -being of all pensioners, observing that their contributions to national health development remain priceless.

“Retirement is not the end of the road, but the beginning of a well -deserved journey. Your wisdom and experience are still vital for the ministry and for Nigeria,” said dr. Salako.

“The same president stressed that we must treat pensioners with respect and care, because one day we will all be in their shoes,” he added.

In a press declaration signed by Alaba Balogun, head, information and public relations of the Ministry, the permanent secretary Daju Kacholl MNi, described the event as a historian, noting that it was the first time that the Department of Hospital Services organized a dedicated retirement ceremony for his staff.

He also praised the director of hospital services, dr. Salaudeen Jimh Mni, for starting and coordinating the program.

“I want to thank you for your years of commitment, sacrifice and impact on the health and well -being of our nation. Your career has been marked by professionalism, integrity and a profound sense of duty”, has further affirmed.

In his observations, dr. Salaudeen Jimh Mni, director of the Department of Hospital Services, praised retirees for laying the foundations for many of the results of the Ministry, from political reforms to the improvements of hospital infrastructures.

“In this country, your work also speaks in silence. You have contributed to modeling policies, strengthening systems and guiding young professionals. The real service transcends the official mandate,” he said.

Honored pensioners, sixteen in number, include: Dr. Noah Andrew, Dr. Bitrus Deborah Oghoghorie, Dr. Adremi Najim Azeez, Dr. Kingsley Odiabara, Mr. Hassan Kehinde, Mrs. Justina Ugiagbe, Mrs. Idowu Iyabo Daraijo, Mrs. Didel Cecilia John, the lady, the lady, the lady. Jegede Florence Lola, Mr. Austin Ayeni, Mr. Alade Adneribigbe and dr. Bibylars.

The ceremony attracted the management staff of the Ministry, the directors of the agencies, the main medical directors of the federal tertiary health institutions across the country and other parties concerned.

The Ministry reiterated its commitment to advance the universal health coverage in line with the agenda of the federal government, while guaranteeing that the bequests of its pensioners continue to guide the current and future health reforms.
