FG launches the digital transformation into the Ministry of Health with the company content management system
Abuja (Core reporter) The Federal Government of Nigeria has reached a milestone in its digital transformation program of the public sector with the official launch of the Enterprise Content Management system (ECM) at the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Wellness, marking a significant change towards governance without paper, transparency and efficiency in the delivery of services.

The ECM system, developed on the basis of the largest federal plan of the civil service and the 2021-2025 implementation (FCSSIP 25), is designed to digitize records, automate work flows and drastically reduce dependence on paper processes. The system is part of the objective of the federal government to achieve 80% digitization of government operations by the end of 2025 and a civil service completely without paper by 2030.
Speaking at the launch of Abuja Tuesday, the minister coordinated for health and social well -being, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, praised the leadership and the workforce of the Ministry, describing them as a “strong, consistent and incredibly dedicated team” led by the permanent secretary Daju Kachollom Mni. He praised the efforts of professionalism and tirelessly of the Ministry’s public employees, stating that their commitment in the last two years has laid the foundations for a transformative change in the governance of health.
“This is more than theory; we are witnessing real implementation and I have seen firsthand how our teams are offering the view of a digital customer -oriented service,” said Professor Pate.
“The ECM is not just an instrument; it is a manifestation of a new way efficient, reactive and transformational.”
“This is a model that, if supported, will transform not only the civil service but the country,” said Professor Pate.
During his speech, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack Oon Mni, head of the civil service of the Hocsf Federation, stressed that the launch reflects the government’s commitment to build a public and focused public service on citizens.
“It is about reinventing the way we work and serve the Nigerians in a digital era,” he said. “With ECM, the Federal Ministry of Health joins a growing group of MDA that guides this change, proves that we are not only guiding politics from above, but we live the transformation we seek”.
In your opinion, over 31,000 and -mil addresses of the official government have already been distributed in all MDA as part of the digital thrust and the new Ohcsf website is destined to become live, powered by the Virtual Private Server (VPS) of Galaxy Backbone. He also observed that the ongoing digital literacy assessments are helping to guide the training efforts targeted throughout the service.
In his observations, the permanent secretary Daju Kacholl has highlighted the potential of the ECM system to revolutionize the estate, collaboration and security of data within the Ministry.
“This is not just an update, it is a passage to a safe and integrated approach that will improve the provision of the service, will cut the costs and align us with the priorities of national development,” he said, urging the staff to embrace change and guide innovation.
The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Wellness now becomes the eleventh central MDA in Go-Live on the ECM platform, joining artists of the caliber of the head of the service of the service, of the State House and the ministries of finance, education and development of solid minerals.
