FG to activate the reports of the NHFRA Committee

Abuja (basic reporter) The Committee for the establishment of the National Healthcare Facility Regulatory Regulatory Agency (NHFRA) presented its reports to the Ministry of Health and Social Wellness. The Minister of State for Health, Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako upon receipt of reports has ensured that the Federal Government will study and consequently activate relationships and recommendations.

Speaking during the official presentation of the report; The minister underlined the importance of the general objective of creating the proposed agency.

He said that the government has created the fundamental need to establish an independent body that will face the gaps of the standard and quality existing in the health sector.

Dr. Salako has continued to guarantee all professional bodies in the health sector that NHFRA is not established to undermine any professional leader or hire the work of any existing regulatory body.

“The entire essence is for us to be able to say that these are the practices of practice in the country and have an organ capable of supporting states in their regulatory activity because states are already doing regulations, are those that record the structures and, also have a certain level of monitoring of the compliance of these structures to their established rules.

“So let me assure you, members of the Committee, that the relationships and recommendations will not sit on the shelves. We will make every effort to examine how we can activate it to ensure that we improved the health sector in our country”; The minister is further expatriate.

Speaking previously, the permanent secretary Daju Kacholl Mni said that NHFRA is a timely and visionary response to long -standing gaps in regulating both public and private health structures throughout the country.
