FG to save the Nigerian who was depressed in the car

The federal government has moved to save several Nigerians who were persecuted in the Central African Republic (CAR).

Nigeria in the Diaspora Commission (Nidcom) revealed this in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja by the Director of the Media, Public Relations and Protocol, Mr. Abdur-Rahman Balogun.

He said the commission’s attention had been withdrawn to a tribal call in a viral video where some Nigerians were allegedly persecuted in Central Africa.

Balogun said: “These Nigerians were cheated and left in foreign countries, forced to work for 11 months without pay.

“Also, their passports were confiscated, leaving them stranded. They are now urged the Nigerian government to intervene and save them.

“This sequel, the commission immediately contacted embassy officials in the car to see this problem.

“It’s fun to tell members of the community that contact has been set with them, the passport they confiscated, while the plan will send a bus to take them to the embassy in Bangui, which is at least eight hours drive.

“The agent in question has also been identified. This is to express the appreciation of the commission to the Nigerian embassy officials for their quick actions.”
