The headquarters of the Christ Embassy Church in Oregun area, Ikeja, Lagos State, was on Sunday morning reportedly engulfed in fire.
The location of the fire incident was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by several users who claimed to be at the scene.
Chris Oyakhilome is the founder of a church that has branches across the country and abroad.

Although there has been no official reaction from the church, and the cause of the fire remains unknown at this time, eyewitnesses said officials of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service responded quickly and rushed to the scene in an effort to save the situation.
This church is just a stone’s throw from the House of God Church International Ministries founded by Pastor Chris Okotie.
