First and & P aims at 250,000 BPDs by 2030

The first exploration and development company of oil and Nigerian development gases (First and & P) has announced a target of 250,000 barrels of oil equivalent to the day in share production by 2030.

The company is also preparing a completely developed medium gas activity and is targeting 1 billion standard cubic feet per day of gas processing and power supply capacity.

Announcing Its Plan During the Unlocking Value in the Shalllow Water: From Exploration Next to Cluster-Based Development in Nigeria’s Shallow Waters Session-Sponsored by First and & P-During A Pre-Conference Event at Angola Oil & Gas 2025 in Luanda, First and & P, General, General Manager-Exploration and Development, Segun Owalabi, Said, “We have consistently Delivered Transformational Milestones, Driving Growth Through Safety, Speed, Efficiency and Responsibility.”

During the presentation, Owalabi highlighted the successful execution of the flagship of the Anyala and Madu Fields company in the Niger delta, which were delivered to the first oil within two years by the final investment decision. Through continuous explorations, evaluation and management of activities, First and & P has tripled its oil reserves, which was also supported by a recent discovery of cubic gas from 2 trillion walking in the Songhai field in March of this year.

“Now we manage all these activities in shallow waters. We have chosen the soil of the shallow waters of Nigeria as an entrance point to unlock the short -term value, risk future growth and build operational credibility,” concluded Owalabi.

The session also detailed the first Evolution approach of E & P at the integrated oil and gas exploration, which reduces the development of unity and operating costs while accelerating the realization of the value from marginal accumulations.
