“After moving flights 3:30 to 5:20, you still call your customers to go down and take their luggage”.
“You have monopolized the system as one -the airline traveling to Akwa Ibom, but you make people you have to serve.
Reacting to passenger complaints, Michael Achimugu, Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the NCAA, said the disturbance was caused by technical problems with operating aircraft in the morning, describing it as “force majeure”.

“Flight disruption occurs. Where the airline will be subject to sanctions is if they fail to comply with part 19 of the NCAA regulations, per treatment for passengers. In this case, the treatment is given,” he said.
He continued to defend Ibom Air because he had one of the best time performance records in the industry while emphasizing that his priority was safe.
“One of the reasons why Nigeria has a safe sky even though all criticism is because, for the slightest safety risk, the aircraft will never be allowed to fly. We prefer to ensure the safety of life and postpone some flights, rather than placing lives in risk because people need to fly. Only people who live will fly tomorrow”.
He apologized to all affected passengers who recorded that always frustrated had a delayed/canceled plan due to flight disorders.
He added that more aircraft coming to Nigeria because of the intervention of an honorable minister, and most airlines will have rescue aircraft for situations like this soon.
