For the third time, CBN MPC maintains an interest rate of 27.5%

The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Nigerian Central Bank (CBN) for the third time maintains the level of monetary policy (MPR), which marks interest rates in the country, with 27.5 percent.

Olayemi Cardoso, Governor of Bank Apex made an announcement on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the end of the 30th meeting of the committee in Abuja.
