The presidential marquee of OluSEGUN OBASANJO (OOPL), Abekuta, on Friday met as the commitment of Faisah Kolapo, daughter of the media entrepreneur and Iya Suna of Egbaland, Dr. (Mrs.) Yemi Kolapo and Hakeem Jimh, son of General Mosvius Jimoh from Erin-One, Kwara, Hush in Group Style.
The colored ceremony, which showed the richness of Yoruba culture was based with profound religious shades, has attracted eminent personalities from politics, business, diplomacy, military, entertainment and media.
The former Governors of the State of Ogun, the head of Olusgun Oosoba and the senator Ibikunle Amosun, led the call of high profile guests, exchanging conveniences with other dignitaries in an atmosphere full of joy and cultural splendor.
The former Ambassador of Nigeria was also present in the United Kingdom, Sarafa Ishola, together with the head (the lady) Bola Obasanjo, wife of the ex -president Ollusgun Obasanjo, who brought the elegance of the brand to the occasion.
The call of the alternative movement, Segun Showunmi, equally embellished the event, underlining its meaning.
The commitment, intertwined with prayers and messages of goodwill, saw the elderly of both families warn the couple to anchor their union on faith, love and mutual respect, while making God the basis of their home.
A transversal section of the company was represented, including retired and at the service of high military officers, actors of Nollywood, journalists, political leaders and traditional sovereigns, who all joined the celebration.
Speaking to the event, Dr. Kolapo expressed gratitude to guests to honor his family, describing the day as one of the happiest moments of his life.
He also invited supporters to join families at the Nikkah ceremony scheduled for Saturday 23 August 2025, at the main marquee Oopl.
