From goals to wedding bells: the best scorer of the Chibuzor Ozurumba League which is put on Wednesday on May 31st in Owerri

Nigerian football enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as one of the ex -greats of the nation, Chibuzor Ozurumba, prepares to walk along the corridor.

Ozurumba, who made news in 2003 as the highest marker of the Nigerian League while playing for Iwuanyanwu Nationale, will marry his lover, Nduanusi hair, Saturday 31 May 2025. The ceremony is scheduled for the Methodist Church, McC/Urtta Road, Owerri, with a Grand Reception for the Government, Okigwe.

Long before his professional celebrity, Ozurumba entered the scene in 2000 during the NNPC/Shell Cup for secondary schools, bringing the international secondary school of Grays, Kaduna, to victory. His exceptional performance earned him the MVP and the honors of the highest marker that year.

He started his professional journey with Jasper United and later became a family name with Iwuanyanwu Nationale. In 2003, his ray of 13 goals earned him the golden boot, a company that remains engraved in the history of the Nigerian League. He also starred for high -level clubs including Enyimba, where he raised the Caf Champions League title in 2004, as well as Akwa United and Heartland FC.

Fans will remember his role in the dramatic victory of the Heartland Federation Cup on Enyimba in 2011, a game that closed the inheritance in Nigerian football.

Although retired, the influence of Ozurumba hard. His journey from local school competitions to continental glory, and now to family life, continues to inspire.
