The secretary of the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, approved the appointment of three corps Marshal (ACMS) assistants to the degree of Vice Corps Marshal (DCMS), Federal Road Safety Corps (Frsc).
This is contained in a declaration of the Corps Public Education Officer (Cpeo), Mr. Olusgun Ogungbemide Wednesday in Abuja.
The SGF stated that the new high officers appointed had to fill the vacant places existing in the South South, North -Ast and North -Western geopolitical areas.
Akume said that the appointment marked a significant milestone in the body’s efforts to improve its leadership and operational skills.
He has appointed officers to fill existing vacant places such as DCM Aliyu Datsama (North West), DCM Pauline Olaye (South South) and DCM Atthiru Hassan (North -est).
According to Akume, the appointment of expert professionals would bring new prospects and skills to the Frsc leadership team.
“They are expected to play a crucial role in modeling the strategic direction of the body and in guiding its mission to reduce road accidents and promote safe driving practices.
“The appointment is part of the push of President Bola Tinubu towards excellence, diligence and hard work that are in line with the administrative philosophy of the current leadership of the Hope Agenda regime,” he said.
The marshal of the body Frsc, Malam Shehu Mohammed, has also congratulated the officers who have just been high for their excellent performances during the exercise.
Mohammed said that every promotion has greater responsibilities.
He loaded them to put the best in the course of their duties as the new rank requires greater attention, greater dedication, commitment and passion.
He also warned those who were not lucky in this year of appointment to keep faith alive and be faithful to the system.
The Frsc boss promised to improve the general well -being of the body staff while he was mentioning all the staff to be in a good mood and made great efforts for the realization of the body’s corporate mandate.
DCM Aliyu Datsama is currently the ACM responsible for special duties and external relationships. He has held several positions including positions of commander of the sector and zonal in different states and areas.
On the other hand, DCM Pauline Olaye, who is currently the boss, the project implementation office at the National Headquarters of the Corps is by virtue of his new appointment, the oldest officer of the body.
He has held different positions of authority, including the position of Assistant Marshal, special tasks and department of external relations, as well as the Zonal commander officer Ze1hq Kaduna zone.
Likewise, DCM ACTHIARU HASSAN is currently the ACM responsible for the technical service department. He has held different positions between which include the positions of Corps Provost and commander of the sector.
