Fury will come out of retirement

Tyson Fury has verbally agreed to return to boxing, said Turki Alalshikh in a bomb announcement.

Fury confirmed his retirement from sport in February after a second defeat against Oleksandr Usyk.

‘The Gypsy King’ had declared that he was ‘happy’ and ‘content’ with his career and that he would not return.

However, he has suggested that he would only go back to the ring if he could fight Usyk for the third time.

And now, it seems that the former heavyweight champion has granted his wish.

According to Talksport, Saudi Boxing Chief Alalshikh announced on Wednesday that Fury had given his word that he will leave retirement.

He published: “The ‘King Gypsy’ will return !!!

Alalshikh then included a reference to a ‘rabbit’, which is a reference to what Fury had labeled with Usyk throughout his rivalry.

“We have a rabbit to hunt!” Added.

The announcement also included an image of Fury with Alalshikh with the couple trembling.

A possible return will also give boxing fans the hope of a totally British fight with former heavyweight worldwide champion Anthony Joshua.

Joshua has refused to rule out a monumental clash with fury, and now there is the possibility of finally happening.
