Gateway Games: Ogun reveals logo, musical theme, mascot

Communication materials have been revealed for the 22nd National Sports Festival tagged “Gateway Games”.

The materials are the logo of games, the musical theme and the mascot. The three were revealed during a colored ceremony at the cultural center of June 12 in Abeokuta.
The deputy governor, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, was for the Governor of the State of Ogun, Prince Dapo Inhabitun.
The logo is mainly in the colors of the theme of Ogun States of lemon green and yellow. The presentation of the logo was immediately followed by that of the musical theme of the Festival.

It is titled “is akabo” a word Yoruba for “welcome” while the state of Ogun is preparing to welcome thousands of athletes, officials, tourists and VIPs when the 22nd National Sports Festival comes to life on May 16.
The musical theme was composed of dr. Bayo Adepert.
The room full of jam roar for the excitement when the festival mascot was unveiled.

Call “Omo Ogun”, the animated version walked on stage and greeted the audience before going on stage to greet the dignitaries.
