Gbegudu emerges the vice -president of Onta while Akinruntan resigns – Thage

The Chamber of the Shareholders’ Meeting of the State of Ondo has elected Ololade Gbegudu, representing the Okitipupa II electoral college, as a new vice -president, following the resignation of Prince Abayomi Akinromi from the position.

The change in the leadership was communicated in a literal letter to Plenary Tuesday, chaired by the Olamide Olamide Camera Oladiji.

Akinruntan said he had resigned as a vice -president to honor the principle of rotation of power in the state. He expressed gratitude to leadership and members of the tenth assembly for the opportunity to serve as vice -president.

“Consequently, the new majority leader, the Olaunji Oshati of the Electoral College of Ose, has moved the motion for the appointment and a legislator that represents Akoko North East, Hon Oluwatoyin Japhet, named Gbegudu. The motion was detached by the Hon. Chris Ayedatiwa, a member who represents the member of Okitipupa I.

“Before that, the speaker Oladiji had formally announced the Olaunji Oshati Hon. As a new leader of the majority of the Chamber. His appointment was ratified during a parliamentary meeting of the legislators held at the beginning of the same day,” said the employee of the house in a note.
