Gunmen Ambush Miners in Jos

At least two miners were killed and two more wounded in a morning ambush on Sunday in the Rafin Bauna area, in the area of ​​the local government of the South, of the state of the plateau.

The attack occurred around 5:20 while the victims were heading towards a mining place near the Mota Mota area.

According to the security analyst Zagazola Makama, who shared the report on his account X Verified Monday, the miners were suddenly attacked by unidentified armed men.

Police sources confirmed that the bodies of two victims – Kabiru Mohammed and David Danlami – were found on the scene.

Two more, Bilal Ibrahim and Ayobene Ahile, have undergone a gun wounds and were running to the Jos University Teaching Hospital (Juth) for care.

“A preliminary investigation shows that the victims have been ambush on their way to the mining place by armed men still to be identified,” said a police source in Makama.

In response, the security forces launched a research and hairstyle in the surrounding bush areas in an attempt to arrest the authors.
