Gunmen kidnap businessman in Kwara

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers on Wednesday abducted a businessman, Emeka Nwachukwu, from his clinic in Kosubosu, Baruten Local Government Area of ​​Kwara State.

The state police spokesman, Ejire-Adeyemi Toun, confirmed the incident in a statement on Thursday in Ilorin.

He said: “The Kwara State Police Command is aware of the unfortunate kidnapping incident that occurred on September 11, 2024 at 8:30 p.m.

“It was reported that Mr. Emeka C. Nwachukwu was abducted from his clinic in the outskirts of Kosubosu town. He was taken to an unknown location. The police, together with local residents, have intensified efforts to rescue the victim unharmed.”
