Gunmen kill 2 policemen, wound 1 in Aba. Two policemen were shot dead and one was wounded after unknown gunmen attacked their checkpoint in Aba.

This happened just a month ago, after some still unidentified gunmen attacked a military checkpoint at the Obikabia intersection, killing five soldiers and burning their patrol vans.

The accident which occurred at Opobo Junction, along Ikot Ekpene Road, Ogbor Hill, caused panic as hawkers, motorists and shop owners ran for safety.
