Hamza Madagali emerged Chairman of the PDP in Adamawa

The delegation of the Democratic Party (PDP) in the State of Adamawa on Saturday chose Alhaji Hamza Madagali as party chairman in the state.

They also chose Mr. Saleh Sheleng as Secretary at the Party Congress in Yola, the Capital of the State.

This duo will manage party affairs for the next four years.

Chairman of the PDP Congress Committee in Adamawa State, Mr. David Lorhenba, described the exercise was credible.

He said a total of 2,656 delegations from 21 regional government areas in the state came out and chose 39 officials.

Lorhenba praised the delegates for doing themselves in an orderly manner.

He said: “Congress behavior is very successful. All delegates come from 21 regional government regions and vote their votes peacefully.

“We have a total of 2,656 delegates, and we have announced the winners very successfully.”

In his remarks, the party leader who came out, Mr. Attahiru Shehu, congratulating the new executives and accused them of continuing what they had done to keep the party strong.

In his acceptance speech, Madagali thanked the delegates for the trust they gave in him.

He promised to carry out the open door policy as party chairman in the state.

“Let’s continue the legacy of a good government and be prepared in the future for 2027 with focus, discipline, and unity.

“For those who are outside our party, especially Adamawa’s youths and women, we invite you to our party.

“PDP is your home. Our door is open to all who want to contribute positively to the development of our state.

“Our party will continue to be a shining example of leadership that focuses on people,” said the new chairman.
