Hisbah destroys the 5.8 but Jigawa alcohol

The Board of Directors of Higawa State Hisbah destroyed alcoholic beverages of the value of N5.8 million in the area of the local government of Kazaure.

The state commander of the Board of Directors, Malam Ibrahim Dahiru, revealed it on Monday in Dutse, noting that the articles were seized during the incursions on bars through Kazaure. A total of 400 alcohol cartons were confiscated and on fire.

The operation was led by the president of Kazaure LGA, Alhaji Mansur Dabuwa.

Dahiru reiterated that alcohol consumption is prohibited in the whole state of Jigawa, adding that the advice remains committed to curbing immoral activities, including drinking.

He urged the residents to support Hisbah’s efforts by providing useful information and warned from indulging in the practices that could damage social values.
