Home Eagles fell from Chan after a 4-0 defeat to Sudan

Super Eagles based at home has been eliminated from the ongoing African nations (Chan) after struggling 4-0 by Sudan on Tuesday night.

The team, led by coach Eric Chelle, began their campaign with a 1-0 defeat of the defending champion Senegal last Tuesday.

The Nigerians hope to get back up and get hope to advance to the quarter-finals of the tournament, but highly beaten by Sudan.

Sudan led after his own goal by Leonard Ngenge in 25 minutes, doubled the advantage in the 44th minute through a Khedr penalty before the Raouf clamp in the second half sealed Sudan’s victory.

Nigeria remains at the bottom of Group D with zero point, and cannot pass the group even if they succeed in their last match against Congo.

Senegal and Sudan are now in four points entering the three match, with a Congo following one point.
