Hon Jonathan rejects the fears of Nigeria who slip into a party state

Hon Jonathan made it known on Thursday 12 June, shortly after President Bola Tinubu faced a joint session of the Senate and members of the House of Representatives, Hon. Jonathan has attributed the storm of defections to the progressive reform policies of the APC and the Agenda of renewed hope.
“What is happening is that due to the progressive reform policies of the president and the APC government, many people are seeing the promised land and see the need to join them”, Hon. Jonathan explained.
“People like us, we know that the agenda of renewed hope is one of the best that have ever happened to the people of Nigeria, and this is why many people are actually distinguishing and join the party.”
Hon. Jonathan stressed that the decision to join the APC is guided by the perception of citizens’ progress rather than by coercion. “It is not that the president or APC is forcing anyone who unites them, people are seeing progress,” he said.
It distributes the fears of the state to a party, saying that “Nigeria cannot become a single party state and, from the speech of President Tinubu, shows that it is not in favor of a single party state, and does not keep the leaders of other parts of doing what they can do to put their home together”, “
He underlined that the president did not prevent the independent national electoral commission (Iner) from recording new political parties, highlighting the existence of various parties such as the party rights party (LRP), the Democratic Party of people (PDP) and all the progressives of the Congress (APC).
The legislator also praised work relations between the legislator and the manager, describing him as crucial for the growth and development of the country.
“As you can see without being said, you can see that the legislator and the manager are working together and is very crucial for the growth and development of this country”, Hon. Jonathan said.
Hon. Jonathan has also praised the permanent democratic values of freedom of speech, choice and legitimate freedom in the last 26 years, contrasting them with the restrictive era of military domain. “During the military regime, were you free? Can you say something? Can you criticize the government? The answer is no,” he observed.
Basic journalists report that Jonathan has applauded the government’s “painful but necessary” decisions aimed at making the country advance. “The APC government is making many difficult decisions to try to advance this country … without those decisions, the country cannot go on,” he said.
