I could see Jackson joining Man United

Chelsea’s hero, Roberto Di Matteo, says there will be a lot of interest in Nicolas Jackson this summer and that he would not be surprised to see that the striker ends at Manchester United.

Jackson joined Villarreal Chelsea for a £ 32 million rate in 2023 and has scored 30 goals in 81 appearances in his first two seasons in the club.

But Jackson has faced criticism due to lack of consistency during his stay in Stamford Bridge, and the 24 -year -old often guilty of a finished waste in front of the goal.

The arrival of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro raises more questions about Jackson’s long -term future in western London and there are reports that blues could be open to sell to the attacker if they receive an offer in the region of £ 80 million before the transfer deadline.

A return to the League has been discussed as a potential option for Jackson, while Newcastle and Manchester United have been accredited with great interest in the Senegal International.

However, it is said that Chelsea’s sale price is leaving the Red Devils of the proposed movement and Old Trafford giants have reduced their list to only two names: Ollie Watkins and Benjamin Sesko.

However, the former Chelsea Di Matteo midfielder, who later directed the club to the glory of the Champions League, could see Jackson play at the Dreams Theater next season.

“Nicolas Jackson will have some clubs that look at him. He is a very good striker. Mark goals and now he has some experience in England,” Di Matteo told Betvictor (Via Metro).

“I think I would have some clubs chasing him and I might want to go somewhere where he is more wanted than in Chelsea.

“YO could See it together with Manchester United, and there are other clubs that are looking for him. Aston Villa could be one if they lose Morgan Rogers.

“There are several clubs, but he can also return to Spain, who knows? Chelsea is in a great position that they are not obliged to sell.

“They have several players who are in the market and can raise some funds from there, so they are not in a hurry to sell.

“They are in a good financial position, so it really depends on what clubs are prepared to pay.”
