The minister of the territory of the federal capital, Nyesom Wike, fired as false relationships that circulate on social media that collapsed at an event in Abuja last week.
Speaking on Thursday after inspecting four projects in progress in the FCT, including the International Conference Center (ICC), Wike described relationships such as the manual work of people “without foundation” who tried to mark low -cost political points.
The minister’s response arrives among the viral places on X (previously Twitter) claiming to have collapsed last Friday during a commitment in the FCT and was racing in a hospital not disclosed for care.
However, Wike categorically eliminated the statements, stating that he remained in good health and actively carrying out his ministerial duties.
His media helper, Lere Olayinka, also refuted the voices, describing them as “false and misleading”. He urged the public to ignore the misinformation, underlining that the minister had not undergone any health crises.
Wike, who has been at the center of political discussions in recent weeks, said that the false relationships have been orchestrated by his detractors who try to create useless panic and confusion.
“Some people are out of work and think that the best way to stay pertinent is to spread lies. I have not collapsed; they are here, work and inspection of projects,” said Wike.
FCT Minister assured Abuja’s residents that his administration remains concentrated on the supply of infrastructure development and the improvement of the standard of living of the capital.
