I inac restores lp abure, the anyanwu names of PDP on the website

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INC) has restored the name of Julius Abure on its website as national president of the Labor Party.

He also enlisted Alhaji Umar Farouk Ibrahim as the national secretary of the party.

According to the commission, reintegration was based on a court order.

The commission has the Senator Samuel Anyanwu as PDP of the National Democratic Party of the Democratic Party. However, he did not indicate if the decision was based on a court order.

The Supreme Court had put aside the previous decisions of the Federal Court and the Court of Appeal that recognized Mr. Abure as national president of the Labor Party.

An Incen source said that the name of Abure was enrolled after studying the real CTC certified copy of the sentence by adding that the sentence of the Supreme Court did not add the “res” or the substance of the matter as it has excluded only the lack of jurisdiction by the lower courts, a development that has implicated that the “status quo be bellum” has remained.

In March the Supreme Court also canceled the decisions of the Court of Appeal and the High Federal Court which fired the Senator Anyanwu as national secretary of the PDP.

Before then, there had been a protracted leadership between Anyanwu and Mr Sunday Ude-Okoye, who, according to reports, had been chosen by some party governors.

As in the case of the LP, the Court Apex had established that the lower courts had no jurisdiction for having entertained the AB Initio issue, which according to him had remained an internal report of the PDP.
