I Was Told A Lot of Bad Things About the NPFL – Finidi

Finidi, who succeeded Jose Peseiro as the coach of the Super Eagles, was unveiled earlier this month, having previously served as an assistant and interim coach.

In an exclusive interview with Brila Media, Finidi stated that he had to summon courage to return to Nigeria.

“Coming back to Nigeria, I had doubts. A lot of people told me not so good things about the league,” he said.

He also spoke about the impact of playing under top coaches, which has helped shape his coaching philosophy and management style.

“I have played under many coaches, and as a coach, you can recall when these coaches were talking to you during training. You don’t have to copy, but those motivational speeches they gave us go a long way.”

“Now I can use those talks in a positive way,” He concluded.
