In a post on social media, Iheanacho expressed his gratitude:

“Thank you for the 7 years we shared. I will always remember fondly our 2021 FA Cup win. Thank you to the owners who brought me to the club, to all my teammates over those years and to the amazing Foxes fans. I wish you all the best for the new season.”

Iheanacho joined Sevilla as a free agent, becoming the second Nigerian to join the club.
