I’m Hale, Hearty – Veterano singer Ebenezer Obey

The Nigerian musician veteran, Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, rejected viral voices saying he died, confirming in a new video that is alive, strong and healthy.

Tuesday, the legendary singer shared a video on social media to face false news, offering his answer with a lively musical performance in Yoruba, English and Pidgin.

“Hi, my name is Professor Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi. Satan, don’t lose or, Satan, don’t lose or, not Pafuka. Na lie dey talk, not Pafuka,” he sang.

He continued to turn directly to the hoax: “It is a false news that started a few hours ago by claiming that I, Evangelist obeys, went to glory. It is a lie. I am alive and it is not the word that Jesus wrote.”

The false rumor, which spread as a fire on Monday, triggered the messages of panic and condolences of fans on various social media platforms.

However, his personal assistant, Tope Olukole, quickly rejected the relationship during a live interview with TVC on Monday.

“We try to be clear: Ebenezer Obey is alive and flourishing,” said Olukole.

“He recently joined his family to celebrate the fiftieth birthday of his second son’s spouse. The voices on his disappearance are without foundation and completely unfounded. We are pleased to see him active and well,” he added.

The false relationship emerged a few weeks after the music icon celebrated its 83rd birthday.
