Imo State Shine At Zonal Youth Games Delete in Enugu

The tournament of eliminating the games of young Zonali 2025 currently underway in Enugu produced another day of electrifying races, with the athletes of the IMO state that once again dominate the scoreboard in several events.

In basketball (male category), the Imo state defeated Abia 14–4 in a commander performance. The volleyball team (female) also had an easy tour of Aabia, winning 2-0, while the handball team obtained a 14-7 victory against Abia.

However, in male handball, the guests Enugu have passed the IMO with a fought 19-13 victory. The cricket (male category) saw another close encounter, but IMO has passed Ebonyi 10-9 to claim the victory.

At the end of the day competitions, IMO State claimed the first place in seven sports:

5. Abola (male and female)

The state has also ensured second place in rugby (male).

With these results, IMO State has strengthened their domain in the zonal youth games, fixing the rhythm for other participating states while the elimination rounds continue in Enugu.
