Imo Swan Marshalls outside a road map on the renovation of sports in its entity in the state, above all because it concerns the National Sports Festival

In a press release issued after its congress, the body aligned the following means to improve the image of the state in sports …

(1) The selection of athletes must be based on merit to guarantee equity and overall performance.

(2) adequate welfare packages should be provided for all athletes to avoid poaching by other states.

(3) The Association invites the State Governor to release funds in advance for the preparation and the correct planning for these festivals.

(4) Swan also asks for the urgent renewal of the following structures to improve productivity by athletes.

* Ball Ball Earf and stay at the Grasshoppers stadium.
* Tartan track at Dan Anyiam Stadium.
* Swimming pool still under construction behind the stadium.
* Supply of sports wheelchairs and kits for athletes para.
* The sports commission should involve retired and expert coaches, if possible, on part -time bases.
* The body congratulates all the athletes who won medals in the last national sports festival in the state of Ogun and requires their immediate work by the state government.
* Swan urges the government of the IMO state to host and celebrate the athletes who have won medals at the Ado 2020, Delta 2022 and Ogun 2024. This will act as a moral booster and encouragement.
* The Association encourages the Ministry of Sport and the Sports Commission to organize regular training and updating courses for coaches.
* Swan urges for the rejuvenation of secondary school games in the LGA to serve from land to fish young talents who will replace those who age.
* The body asks for the acquisition of bus worthy of the street, for example Bus Marcopoli for the IMO team.
* Swan urges the government to support Heartland FC football football to ensure that they return to NPFL this season.
Swan appeals to the state government to improve the welfare packet of players and Queens Heartland officials to help them do much better.
* The body also appeals to the support of Kun Khalifat FC by the state government to allow them to obtain the promotion to the highest flight.

The body invokes the IMO state government, the Ministry of Sports and the State Sports Commission to quickly act on the above resolutions for the growth and development of sports in the state.
