The Independent National Election Commission (INEC) on Thursday issued a return certificate to the winner of the August 16 Election in the country.
The National Commissioner of Inec representing the electoral district presented certificates to the newly elected senators and members of the House of Representatives at the Commission Headquarters in Abuja.
Senator was elected for South Anambra, Emmanuel Nwachukwu, who spoke to journalists after he received his certificate, promised to give authentic and impact representatives, handling the needs of business people and people with disabilities in the region.
He said: “We will work across the party path to overcome problems such as erosion, health, and education.
“My goal is that the southern anambra people feel right -really represented.”

Nwachukwu pointed to severe environmental degradation in the area and described it as “the capital of Nigeria’s erosion.”
He promised to collaborate with local and international experts to overcome the crisis.
In his remarks, the senator was chosen to Edo Central, Joseph IKPEA, vowed that he would not disappoint his constituents.
He succeeded on Monday Okpebholo, who resigned from his senate seat to fight for the Edo Governor Election.
“The way I pay attention to my people will now determine whether they will support me for the second term of office,” IKPEA said.
Inec will present a return certificate to the newly elected State Assembly members on Friday.
