At least 10 people were killed in two car accidents along the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway on Wednesday.
Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) sector in the state of Enugu, Mr. Franklin Agbakoba, revealed this to journalists on Thursday.
He said the accident involving seven vehicles occurred around 9:30 am and 3:45 pm in the police plantation and the Ozalla toll gate axis along the freeway.

Agbakoba said: “As usual, our officers and men from the Ozalla FRSC unit quickly began the rescue process, saving no less than 30 people and some with large injuries brought to the hospital.”
He added that 40 people were involved accidentally while nine people died on the spot, the 10th victim died at the hospital on Wednesday night.
