The Governor of the State of Ogun, Prince Dapo Inhabitun, invited the corporate organizations that operate in the state to collaborate with his administration to make life at ease for the people.

Inhabitun, who made the call on Friday when he commissioned the Abekuta branch of the Banca Trust Premium at Oke-Silewo, said that their relevance would not have been defined only in the profit process, but in the impact they have through the social responsibility of the companies (CSR).

He said that in the past the bank has played an active role in national development through the sponsorship of sports development programs and young people, including the last national sports festival held in the state of delta and the current Gateway games in the state of Ogun.

He said: β€œLet what Premium Trust Bank is acting as a project for your social responsibility. It must not be a rethinking, but a fundamental pillar of your operational philosophy.

“Both in supporting small businesses, education, health care or environmental sustainability, your relevance would be defined not only by only profitability, but by the social impact.”

Inhabitun observed that the presence of the bank in state capital is a statement of the success of the vision of its administration through the ISEYA development pillars, just as it strives to fill the rural-urban gaps and promote the synergy between agriculture, production and harmonization of production efforts and service centers.

He said that the institution of multiple banks means a new era as it is producing positive results in economic activities throughout the state, contributing to the further objectives of sustainable development.

Premium Trust Bank, observed the governor, has distinguished itself in the last three years as a main financial institution pursuing financial inclusiveness and innovative services.

He appreciated the bank for supporting the state in his attempt to host the National Sports Festival, adding that his administration would work with authentic investors to further develop the state.

Owu’s Olowu, Oba Saka Matemilola, in his message of goodwill, said that the state has grown industrially in recent years due to the favorable commercial environment implemented by the current administration.

He said that the arrival of the bank in the financial sector would generate positive reforms, asking others to take advantage of the qualifying environment to invest in the state.

The general manager of the National Sports Commission, Mr. Bukola Olopade, in its observations, praised the bank to remain standing by the state during the offer period and being the main sponsor of the festival while approving sports personalities throughout the nation.

The CEO and the Bank’s CEO, Emmanuel Efefienim, underlined that the opening of the branch is a celebration of a milestone, adding that the bank, in its three years of existence, has 22 branches across the country.

He said that as the main sponsor of Gateway Games, the bank shares the aspirations of the people of the State, as it designed a digital financial platform to support the natives.
