Galatasaray President: We have paid for Osimhen

Galatasaray president Dursan Ozbek has revealed that the Turkish champions have paid 75 million euros for the transfer of Victor Osimhen.

“We have already paid the full amount of Osimhen’s transfer,” Ozbek told the media.

Galatasaray agreed with Napoli to pay the record transfer fee in installments when they signed him permanently last summer.

Since top Turkish clubs are famous for not paying transfer fees, Napoli insisted on obtaining bank guarantees from Galatasaray for Osimhen’s transfer to go ahead.

The Galatasaray president has said that Osimhen has more than justified the high transfer fee they paid for the Super Eagles striker.

He said Osimhen has doubled his valuation in the transfer market thanks to his exploits with the Turkish giants.

Dursan Ozbek also confirmed that Osimhen earns 21 million euros a year: 15 million in salary and six million in advertising and sponsorships.
