On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu held a meeting behind closed doors with the national security councilor, Nuhu Ribadu, and the head of the defense staff, General Christopher Musa.
The meeting arrives among the growing concerns for security across the country, in particular the rebirth of murders in the states of the plateau and the Benue.
The heads of security, which arrived at the presidential villa around 15:00, should have informed the president about the strategies deployed so far to face the situation.
