Inter Milan Issue Atalanta ultimatum on Adelala Lookman Pursuit

Inter Milan has entered a tense confrontation with Atalanta while pressing to ensure the firm of Nigeria International Adelala Lookman.

The Nerazzurri presented an improved package of 45 million euros, which includes 40 million euros in advance and 5 million euros in accessories, but Atalanta remains firm in its valuation of 50 million euros.

Inter position follows the previous rejections of two offers, including 42 million euros plus € 3 million in bonds.

The sources in Italy suggest that Atalanta’s rigid position is linked to a 15 percent sales clause owed to RB Leipzig, a factor that complicates negotiations.

Despite the dead point, Inter President Beppe Marotta remains optimistic, expressing its confidence that an agreement could still be reached in a matter of days.

However, the club has established a strict deadline of 10 days, warning that they will look for other objectives if they are not advanced.

Meanwhile, Lookman had rejected the proposals of the Premier League clubs before and since then has submitted a request for formal transfer.

It is understood that personal terms with Inter are agreed, leaving the giants of Serie A with the task of breaking the resistance of Atalanta.

With the negotiations that enter a decisive stage, the next few days will determine whether Lookman completes a high profile change to the San Siro or if Inter is forced to move away from the agreement.
