Iran: FG states that the collaboration with Armenia on the safe passage for the Nigerians reaches the advanced phase

While the government of Nigeria is preparing to evacuate its citizens from Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that the collaboration between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the government of the Republic of Armenia to facilitate the safe evacuation of Nigerian citizens from the Islamic Republic of Iran through Yerevan, has achieved an advanced phase.

The insurance was given during a meeting between the charge of the business of the Embassy of Nigeria in Iran, Abdulrasheed Omar Lawal and the director of the Middle East and Africa acting in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Levon Petrosyan, where the head of the Nigerian embassy in Iran has requested a safe passage for the Nigerians in a row.

This compassionate gesture of Armenia underlines the importance of international solidarity and humanitarian cooperation in times of crisis. Nigeria, therefore, deeply appreciates the will of Armenia to help guarantee the safety and well -being of our citizens captured in the distressing situation.

Nigeria enhances strong diplomatic relations with Armenia and does not wait to further strengthen bilateral bonds in the spirit of mutual respect and shared humanity.

Basic journalists include that the Nigerian government, through its relevant agencies, is working closely with the Armenian authorities and other international partners to coordinate a process of evacuation without interruption.
