Ireland deported 35 Nigerians for immigration violations

Ireland on Wednesday deported 35 Nigerians due to immigration violations.

The National Immigration Bureau of Garda (GNIB) confirmed the development in a statement seen by the media on Saturday.

The body said five children and nine women, including among deportes.

The children who were moved were part of the family group.

“Everyone has been transferred with a rental flight that left Dublin Airport last night, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, for Nigeria,” the statement said

Nigerian deportation is the first flight to Africa since Ireland launched a charter deportation flight in February.
