‘It feels good’ – Okoronkwo reacts to AFC Toronto AFC Potm Win

The Super Falcons, Esther Okoronkwo, has held its AFC Toronto player award for May.

Okoronkwo was recognized for his exemplary actions for AFC Toronto during the period under review.

The 23 -year -old was in the target for Marko Milanovic team three times in four league exits in May.

“He feels good. He feels good,” Okoronkwo said with a wide smile during the ceremony after the game where he received his trophy.

“Fortunately. I mean, obviously I would not have been possible without my teammates. Therefore, no matter how much I won that, it is also with them. Also for them.”

Okoronkwo moved to AFC Toronto in February after cutting the ties with the Chinese Club Changchun Dazhong Zhuoyue.

She has been a defender of the future of the league and the potential to become one of the best female leagues worldwide, if she is given time and investment.

“This is a good league. And it will only improve. More talent will come, there will be more eyes on it,” he added.

“If you mention the female leagues in the future, the Canadian League will be just there,” he added.
