Real Socity has made a U -turn on the future of the Nigeria Sadiq Umar international striker after its impressive ethics and working form since he joined the team for training prior to the season, reports Owngoalnigeria.com.
Sadiq was omitted from the team’s training tour for Japan after being late due to visa problems and uncertainty about his future. He stayed with other players who were active during international rest training at the club’s facilities.
Now it is expected to join the rest of the group in training according to the president of the Jokin Aperribay club, who said he has received positive reports on Nigerian performance since they resumed for training prior to the season.
“The information I have about Sadiq is that he has trained very well, like the entire group that has stayed in Zubieta. We have spoken every day with Erik (Bretos) about how the sessions were in Zubieta, and Sadiq is going very well. We’ll see. I would not rule out Sadiq to be here this season. I think I have been clear.”
The Nigerian spent the second half of last season on Valencia. If it is going to leave, company is largely against any loan agreement, since they will want a direct sale to recover a part of the 20 million euros that splashed on it.
