The popular nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, has spoken honestly about the surprising episode of his early acting career in which he used a parang to pursue a film producer in a film.
Jim Iyke told the incident in a new interview, said that after being given a script that required him to describe the gay part, he was forced to pursue a film producer with a machete.
He explained that the manuscript provided by the film producer was contrary to his personal beliefs and emphasized that he would never accept such a role in any Nollywood film.

He said, “I can’t roll out with gay, I apologize. I can’t wear a skirt for anyone, I apologize. I know there is the whole community, you know. I salute you; for each of his.
“Immediately he saw me, he departed. I said, kept running, kept running, so, they tried to reach the broader spectrum of audience, and, of course, the community in question would not, you know, well or gave them a nod of approval if you did not touch the sensitive subjects.”
