Nollywood star Jim Iyke has responded to criticism of his controversial birthday tribute to his colleague Kate Henshaw, who stated that no “no one was really s3xual about it.”
Jim Iyke explained in this new interview with 3fm 102.7 Ghana that Instagram posts, which belong to graphics and remember the previous love sentiment for Henshaw, is the “word game” that is communicated from the position of mutual understanding and extreme comfort.
He stated, “I mean all that I say at the post. I rarely say something I don’t mean. I don’t waste words. My words are my bonds. I have known this person for more than two decades of my life. We have grown as friends and as brothers and sisters.”
He clarified that offensive language is only their special method to express love, highlight the fact that such movements are typical in their close relationships.

“What happens is a word game told in a comfort zone that only two people or lacking can be cohabit … I know that feelings are mutually beneficial. Nothing is really really s3xual about it [the birthday tribute]. It doesn’t even recommend someone I dated. “
Jim Iyke continued by saying that too many people were wrongly reading his post and giving their own interpretation. He claimed that “people throw it into a world that has nothing to do with it.”
He concluded by stating that he did not live with the opinions of others and that he did not owe an explanation to anyone. He said, “I spoke just because I could talk.” “This is all your business, but you interpret it.”
