Judge Tsoho redistributes five judges of the Federal High Court – Thage

By Victor Osula Abuja

The chief judge of the High Court Federal (FHC), judge John Tsoho, approved the immediate redistribution of five judges in different judicial divisions.

A declaration by the Director of information FHC, Catherine Christopher, said that the affected judges include judge M. Urar, who moves from the Enugu division to Abuja; Justice Tijjani Ringim, redistributed from Gombe to Yola; Justice M. Segun-Bello, redistributed by Abakaliki to Enugu; Justice Bala Usman, from Yola to Awka and judge Amina Mohammed, moved from Awka to Gombe.

Redistribution has an immediate effect, with all the judges concerned who should finalize any pending sentences in their current stations as quickly as possible.

“In the meantime, the judges currently serving in the judicial divisions Abakaliki and Katsina must supervise all existing cases and arriving in their jurisdictions until further directives are issued,” observed the declaration.

In a related directive, the Court clarified that all the cases previously assigned to Court n. 5 of the Abuja division will now be managed by the judge just deployed in Abuja.

This move eliminates the need for parties or their advice to request reassignment.
