Kalu urges the police, Abia Govt to chase Chinese expatriate killers

According to reports, the victims were killed by unknown armed men who lurking on a convoy that transported Chinese expatriates and their police escorts to a mining site in Isuikwato, in the state of Abia.
The president of the Senate Committee of the South East Development Commission (Sedc) Kalu, in a signed declaration issued by his media office on Sunday, sentenced the unfortunate attacks and killings of Chinese expatriates including a policeman.
The former governor of the State of Abia in the declaration expressed dismay for those who called deliberated attacks and not caused to expatriates and uniform men.
The declaration said: “Despite our rigorous efforts to put an end to insecurity, the crimes persist. I condemn these unfortunate and not caused efforts that have taken the life of two Chinese expatriates, a policeman and many other wounded

Kalu has extended his condolences to the ambassador of the People’s Republic of China and to the affected families and invited the security agencies to intensify their efforts to protect citizens and expatriates, especially now that the country needs economic and development growth.
