Festus Keyamo (San), a aviation minister and aerospace development, directed the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to place the musician Fuji, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, on the no-Fly list.
In his official @Fkeyamo X on Thursday, Keyamo also ordered the Neca to immediately notify the national and international airlines of the directive.
According to him, any operator who brings the retreat of the directive risks supporting the operating license.
The directive came following a violation of security at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja Terminal.
The accident, which involved Ayinde popularly known as Kwam 1 and two drivers of Airlines Valuejet, led to the suspension of drivers’ licenses
The pilots had been identified as Ogoyi Olurant Captain and the first officer Ivan Oloba.
The minister condemned the behavior of Ayinde and the pilots during the accident.
Keyamo said that her preliminary impression of the accident was a case of temporary loss of mental health and control over both sides, adding that this could have led to serious victims.
“I received relationships from all the relevant aeronautical agencies regarding the altercation between the staff and the Valuejet and Kwam 1 crew at Abuja airport on Tuesday 7 August 2025 with video movies of the accident.

“Contrary to what Kwam 1 agents said, he constantly moved his position on the asphalt to actually block the plane from the noise to take a position on the catwalk for take -off.
“This is a totally unacceptable behavior.
“The problem if he brought water or alcohol is not even a problem at this point.
“It is the physical block of the aeromobile from the tick that is the reproven conduct here that it is similar to a hostage situation.

“The real movie that shows this recalcitrant behavior is attached,” he said.
He added that no quantity of provocation should make the captain and the co -pilot of an airplane to start taxing without the safety personnel having safely moved an unruly passenger from the front of an airplane.
According to the minister, both parties violated the standard security protocols as required by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
