… Felicita with SGS on the coronation H like Yeye Oba of Mopa Land
The Rector, the Polytechnic of the State of Kogi, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has congratulated himself, Oba Dr. Muyiwa Ibeun, Elulu of Mopa and President, Mopamuro Traditional Council, in his extraordinary first anniversary of the first year on the throne of his ancestors.
Professor Usman in a statement that has personally signed and made available to journalists in Lokoja on Monday, said that since the monarch got on the throne, Chiefdom has witnessed an unprecedented level of peace, prosperity, growth and progress worthy of celebration.
The rector who on behalf of the management, of the academic council, staff and students of the institution appreciated the style of exemplary leadership of the monarch, described it as a source of inspiration for young people who aspire to be leader in the future.
He prayed almighty God in his infinite mercy to give him a long life and good health to continue to govern Mopa’s land at a more enviable height through enormous results and developments.
In The Same Vein, The Rector Has Felicitated with Dr. (Mrs) Folashade Ariike Ayoade, The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State (SGS) On Her Coronation As Yeye Oba of Mopa Land by His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Muyiwa Ibeun, Elulu of Mopa and Chairman, Mopamuro Traditional Council as part of the Activities to Mark the Elulu’s One Year Anniversary on the throne.
Professor Usman described honor as a clear recognition of his dedication and his exceptional service to the people of the State of Kogi.
“He also reflects the high value that his community places on his support, compassion and tireless efforts for peace, unity and development of the earth”.
The rector said that being conferred with the title of Yeye Oba is a significant result and a strong expression of the trust and respect he has gained over the years, as well as his profound connection with his people and his culture.
“I am confident that it will continue to promote unity, support cultural heritage and contribute significantly to the progress of the land of Mopa, the state of Kogi and beyond.
“Once again, he accepts the heartfelt congratulations of the Polytechnic of the State of Kogi and the best personal wishes of the Rector while bringing this new responsibility with Grace and Honor but”, said prof. Usman.
Professor Usman joined other government officials, traditional sovereigns, family, friends and best wishes to embellish the opportunity of the one -year anniversary on the throne and the coronation ceremony in the residence of Elulu in Mopa on Saturday 17 May 2025.
