Kwara United hands Kabiru Dogo Three-Match Ultimatum

In response to the recent challenges faced by Kwara United, the Club’s management has issued a three-match ultimatum to Coach Kabiru Dogo.

The ultimatum follows the team’s disappointing goalless draw against Niger Tornadoes in Ilorin.

Dogo received an official correspondence which read:

The entire technical crew headed by you has been given three (3) matches ultimatum to arrest the current and unacceptable performance(s) of the team,” the letter states.

The management expressed concern over the team’s dwindling performance, citing poor results in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) 2023/2024 season, with only two points gained in the last three matches and no goals scored.

Notably, the team has drawn four out of seven home matches.

The ultimatum includes crucial upcoming matches: a home game against Plateau United on Thursday, December 21, 2023 (Matchday 15), an away match against Kano Pillars on Thursday, December 28, 2023 (Matchday 16), and a home game against Lobi Stars FC on an unspecified date for Matchday 17.

The management emphasizes the necessity of this action to re-energize the players and regain their confidence.
