Congress of all Progressive (APC) in the state of Lagos will officially start its campaign for the Election of the Regional Government on July 12 on Tuesday.
The party will also give a flag to the candidate on the same day.
APC Publicity Secretary in the state, Mr. Seye Oladejo, who revealed this in a statement on Saturday, said the flag that accommodated the ceremony would be held at the Party State Secretariat in Ogba.
Oladejo said: “This campaign has been decentralized along the three senator districts in East, Central and West Lagos, which have been divided into two because of their size.
“The flag ceremony will be witnessed by party chiefs, elected and appointed party officials at three levels of government.
“The party had previously directed its leadership in the local government to place the local organizing committee- to bring campaigns to all corners, gaps and corners of the country to ensure effective and massive mobilization.”
According to him, the APC campaign will focus on various important achievements that have never happened before from the government that came out on the council, many on time social interventions, and promises to do more with the party philosophy.
The spokesman urged the people of the country to carry out their civilian responsibilities on the election day.
“The campaign will end the day before the election in accordance with the existing laws,” he added.
APC produced leadership and council candidates in 20 regional government areas (LGA), 37 local council development areas (LCDAS), and 377 wards in the state on May 10.
